Full Text Interview(Q/A thread) with Zonta
This format was created to introduce you to interesting people from Web3 space
Zonta is a young influencer, is an experienced AI user, often writes threads in his own interesting style
1.
Q: Tell us about yourself, where are you from, how old are you, how long have you been in the crypto/nft space.
A: Yo! I am Zonta, the digital alter ego of a 22-year-old boy born and raised in northern Italy. I discovered BTC in now distant 2021 and also the same year I met the magical world of NFTs that catapulted me into this reality called Web3. (Yes, I horribly missed BAYCs like many other now-established projects.)
2.
Q: Do you have a job IRL? If yes, what do you do? Is it difficult to combine Web3 activities with work?
A: My background is in digital marketing and copywriting and I'm full-time Web3. I am lucky enough to still live in the house where I was born. I contribute to expenses through occasional trades/flips. I think this is a huge opportunity. People like me can devote all their energy to learning more and more from this world and building something that will last over time.
3.
Q: What is your main goal in Web3? What inspires you to work?
A: One of the biggest reasons why I'm passionate about this environment is its ability to connect people and create bonds. Maybe it's because of my young age, but I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Also, I am a great story lover, and the narratives that Web3 allows you to develop are truly unique.
My main goal, in addition to currently secret personal projects, is to become an extreme connoisseur of Web3 media culture. I want to know it like the back of my hand.
4.
Q: Have you made any mistakes when starting to build your own brand on Twitter? What are some things that beginners who want to grow their own Twitter should avoid?
A: Being at an early stage, I still make many mistakes. One of the most common ones that I am sure many creators will find themselves in is looking more at numbers than people. Bad mistake. Web3, like the rest of the world, is about people, emotions, and feelings. Another key step is to fully understand what your brand is about and what it is not. Figure out if something is right for you before you take advantage of the next trend.
5.
Q: Do you plan to create your own project?
A: Yes, but for now it is top secret. I understand the ''build in public'' meta, but I also think your vision needs to be thoroughly researched before going public. All I can say is that it is about art, artists, and creators, and it's divided into 3 main phases.
6.
Q: What qualities should a Good Founder have?
A: I will sound cliché, but I think the first key aspect for a founder is to love their project and community like they are a child and a family. The second is to have a long-term vision that is clear, sustainable, and community-driven because the greatest strength of Web 3 is exactly that- to create businesses and projects that are about empowering the community.
The third is to be transparent in every aspect. Do you have doubts about something? Not sure what is the best method to get to the goal? Talk to the community about it. Keep them updated on every choice you make. But you also have to understand when you need to create some mystery and hype around the brand, as it is currently the most valuable asset.
7.
Q: Name 3 NFT projects that, in your opinion, have great potential (before/after Mint).
A: My risk tolerance is very low so I aim for projects that have already proven they know their stuff:
Azuki = great lover of Japanese culture, incredible IP, clear and concrete ideas about the brand concept for the metaverse
Sappy Seals = I'm a big believer in leveraging media culture to generate interest around the brand, and their team knows very well how to do that
Yuga Ecosystem = it's clear that they are specializing in gaming/metaverse, which in my opinion will be one of the biggest industries in the next few years
Obviously my project. I don't want to brag but as I said before, I care about it like it's my baby. It's what pushes me to get better and better so I can then pour all my value into the community. Soon you will know what I am talking about
8.
Q: You are an expert in AI, what are the top 3 things every beginner should know when using AI?
A:
The first thing is the fact that there are plenty of free resources to learn from, even with 0 coding knowledge.
The second thing I often see wrong is using AI as if they were the Google search bar. Specificity plays a fundamental factor since AIs are algorithms trained to give certain answers only with certain inputs. By articulating a request as best as possible, you will ensure that AI can respond to it best.
The third and last one is don’t copy and paste from ChatGPT because you can notice it quite easily.
